Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of payforflight.com and the flight-booking assistance services we provide as an independent UK-based travel service. By using our website or submitting an enquiry you accept these terms in full. Please read them carefully alongside our Disclaimer, Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

1. About us

Flights ("we", "us", "our") is an independent UK-based travel service operating in the United Kingdom. We can be contacted at 0203 983 2847. We are not an airline and we do not represent any airline directly.

2. Our role

We act as an intermediary between you and our network of airline consolidators and supplier partners. The contract for the carriage itself is between you and the operating airline (or, where applicable, the supplier providing the booking) and is governed by their conditions of carriage and fare rules. Our role is to source and arrange the booking on your behalf.

3. Indicative pricing

All prices displayed on our website are indicative sample prices intended to illustrate likely costs for a given route. They are not live quotes. Live availability and the final price (including all taxes, airline-imposed surcharges and our service fee) will be confirmed in writing by email before any booking is completed and before any payment is taken from you. You are not bound by any price shown on the website.

4. No guarantees on price

We do not guarantee the 'lowest price' or 'best price' on the market. We will quote the best price our supplier network can offer for your specific request at the time of the quote. You are free to compare our quote with any other provider before confirming.

5. Bookings and ticketing

A booking is confirmed only when (a) you have approved the final written quote, (b) payment has been received, and (c) we have issued an electronic ticket and emailed you the itinerary. You must check that all names, dates, times and routings on your e-ticket are correct and notify us of any errors within 24 hours of receipt. Names on tickets must match exactly the name shown on your travel document.

6. Payment

Where payment is required, all prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP £) and include all applicable taxes, airline-imposed surcharges and our service fee unless we state otherwise. We do not accept payment via the website itself; payments are arranged separately once the final price is confirmed in writing.

7. Changes by you

Changes to confirmed bookings (date, route, cabin, name corrections) are subject to the operating airline's fare rules and may incur airline change fees, fare differences and our administration fee. We will quote the total cost in writing before any change is made. Some fares are completely non-changeable; we will tell you so in writing.

8. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and the airline's fare rules for your specific ticket. Many sale fares are non-refundable beyond unused taxes. We will tell you whether your fare is refundable before you pay.

9. Schedule changes by airlines

Airlines may change schedules at short notice. We will notify you by email as soon as we are made aware. If the new schedule is not acceptable to you, you may request a re-route, alternative date or refund (subject to airline policy and our Refund Policy).

10. Travel documents, passports and visas

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and any passengers in your booking hold valid passports, visas, transit permits, health certificates and any other documents required for the entire journey. Many destinations require a passport with at least six months' validity beyond the date of return. We strongly recommend checking the latest travel advice on gov.uk. We are not liable for any loss arising from inadequate or incorrect travel documents.

11. Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, repatriation, cancellation, baggage and personal liability for the full duration of your trip. Travel insurance is not included in the price of a flight ticket.

12. Liability

We accept liability for our own negligence in arranging your booking. We do not accept liability for the acts or omissions of airlines or other travel suppliers; their liability to you is governed by their conditions of carriage and the Montreal Convention 1999. Our maximum liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the total amount you paid us for the affected services, except where liability cannot be limited by UK law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint while you are travelling, please raise it with the airline or supplier on the spot so they have the opportunity to put things right. If the issue is not resolved, please contact us within 28 days of returning home, by phone on 0203 983 2847 (or follow up in writing via the contact form), with full details and any supporting documents.

14. Privacy and cookies

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, both available on this website. By using our services you consent to the processing described in those policies.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, civil unrest, pandemics, government action, strikes, air-traffic-control restrictions, natural disasters and adverse weather.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that customers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts.
